to Ann and the family,
I am just now reading about Neil's passing. I am so very sorry for your loss. I think the last time I saw all of you together, we were swimming with John and Bucky. Bobby was very little and very cute. Tinker was so sweet. It's hard to believe that time seems so long ago and then it seems like nothing. I am sorry for your loss. I'm sure your sense of humor and memories will pull you through this difficult time.

Ann, Bobby, and Family:
Chubby lived around the corner from me when we were growing up. He was a few years older so I didn't really know him until he married one of my closest friends. Then I got to know what a wonderful, caring, kind person he was. I know you all will miss him every day and that you will cherish the special memories you hold in your hearts forever. God bless.

I was so glad to see him and got a big bear hug. He was always nice and had a smile. May your loving memories and God's peace comfort you and your family.

Ann, was so sorry to read about Bob. I remember 18 years ago when I came to LINC, he told me that when he started at the library, he was a 98 lb. weakling. He was a class act. My thoughts go out to you and your family.

Ann,

My grandparents used to live across the street from Tinker and his family on Manson Rd., and we spent a lot of time playing together with the other kids in the neighborhood. I have nothing but good memories of Tinker being a good friend and a great guy. I am sorry that we were unable to keep up with each other over the years, but it sounds like he had a good life and a wonderfrul family. My prayers are with you during this difficult time.

When “Chubby” and I grew-up around the corner from each other in that small housing pocket in the southeastern corner of Shelby Drive and Highway 61, we spent lots of time playing cork ball with Chubby’s next door neighbor Randall Mullins. We spent so much time on the asphalt on Manson road doing that, I’m sure some of the discolored areas on my arms, neck, and legs are due in part to those great times in the sun. We continued being on the same football team at Westwood where Chubby and I did more than a couple of grass-drills for hiccups in our performance during practice. He is one of my fondest memories growing up in that small pocket community. I offer my prayers to his surviving family members. Do remember there is a plan for us all and it appears Chubby has been called home to be with his Lord. Good bless to all. Lee Lawson.

Dear Ann and Family,
I had the honor and priviledge of having lunch with Bob in the week prior to his surgery. We talked about old times at Westwood and about being a cancer patient, a cancer survivor and our faiths. As all new cancer patients he was filled with questions, some I was able to answer and some that only time would answer. I do know that he was commited to fight the cancer, but little did we all know that it would not be cancer that would take him so prematurely.
I know that today and the days to come will be difficult for all of you but we must all know that God had a plan for his life and the timing of his death. We may never be sure of what that is but we can be sure that Bob left his mark on all of us while he was with us.
If there is anything that we can do to help please let us know. You are in our prayers.

Dear Sweet Ann,
I just can't put into words how my heart aches for you. I know how much you love your sweet husband and how much you will miss him. But what a joyful thought that he is with the Lord and seeing his parents again. He will be watching and waiting for you from Heaven above and seeing how much fun you have on your Friday night sleep overs with the grandkids!
I am here for you if you need anything at all.
Love, Tangina

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I will pray that your family receives the peace and comfort needed to get through this difficult time. I've only known Bob for such a short period of time, but I am thankful and feel truly blessed for that opportunity, so many good people walk in and out of our lifes. It is such a blessing for those special ones. God Bless the family.

I thank you all for your support - I was so lucky to have had such a great father - someone who seems to have had a quiet but powerful impact on so many lives. Everyone who ever met him knew what a sweet and loving heart he had. He was the ideal husband, friend and father and I only pray that I continue to bring the Meeks name as much honor as Dad did.

He left us way too soon - but I can't wait to see him in Heaven when I am called to go.

Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart in remembering his life.
